 Who is eligible to live at V&K Community Living?

Our program is open to independent adults who are in need of safe, supportive housing. Minor Hill Pathways welcome individuals from all walks of life-past credit, rental, or legal history will not automatically disqualify you.

 

To apply, you'll need:

*A valid photo ID

*Basic personal information

*A short intake interview (we'll schedule this after reviewing your application)

 

There may be a small program/move-in fee depending on your situation, and we'll explain everything clearly before you move forward. If you're unsure whether you qualify, reach out -- we're happy to talk it through with you.

 What amenities and support are provided in your housing program?

 Each of our homes are fully furnished and include paid utilities, washer & dryer, WiFi and more. Our homes are "move-in ready" with everything you need!

 How do I apply for housing at V&K Community Living?

 You can apply by filling out our online application form or contacting our team directly. Once we receive your information, we’ll schedule a screening to ensure it’s the right fit for you and our community. We make the process as smooth as possible so you can transition quickly into stable housing.

 What makes V&K Community Living different from other housing programs?

V&K Community Living  offers more than just housing--we provide structure, support and a true sense of community. Our program is built on compassion and second chances. We welcome individuals from all walks of life, regardless of credit or rental history, and help them rebuild with dignity and purpose.

How long can someone stay?

 There is no set time limit. As long as residents follow the house rules and continue paying rent, they're welcome to stay as long as they need st VandK Community Living, we believe in stability, not deadlines. We're more than just a transitional house-we're here to offer you a place to truly call home, for as long as you want it to be. Whether you're looking for a fresh start or a forever home, you belong here.

 Can caseworkers or organizations refer clients directly?

 Absolutely! We welcome referrals from case managers, social workers, hospitals, shelters and community programs. Just contact us to begin the referral process.

 I've submitted my application online. What happens next, and how long does the process take?

Once your application is submitted, our team will begin reviewing it within 1-3 business days. After that, you may receive a follow-up call or email to schedule a brief intake interview and collect any additional documents we may need.

 

We try to move quickly, but timelines can vary depending on availability, intake processes, and verifying required documents.
